Well, what I usually did was take out the back seat and run the cables under the carpeting, under the sill plates, then up through the firewall (BE SURE TO RUN THE POWER CABLE AND RCA/REMOTE TURN ON WIRE ON SEPERATE SIDES!!!). I don't know about how to get through the firewall of an 08 though, so maybe check out a Haynes Manual, do a yahoo search on it,or just walk into your local audio install place and ask. Never hurts to ask them.
Just a thought (this is what I did on my last car) but maybe follow the hood release cable from the pull lever in side the carto the grommet in the firewall and run your power cable to the battery that way.

yeah, well my si came with the premium sound package so it has a sub in it, i bought a HI-LOW converter and was gonna splice the rear speakers and the PWR-On for the amp, so everything is there already just need to run the power cable but i cant find a holE! haha but i might as well just take it in and have them run the cable for $20

Chances are you will have to drill one
And by the way to clear some info on the power/rca/remote wire issue, very rarely has this caused an interference problem
and when it has, the problem was more-so grounding somewhere else in the car, not the fact that they were close together
