so, can you or cant you hook up an iPod to the 06 civic lx. i know the ex comes with the jack already, but does the lx's radio have the input on the back. also, does anybody have pics of the back of the stock lx radio. i would love to see behind it before i remove it to install my system. thanks in advance.

 

No inout what so ever on the back. I dont know why some people insist there is but there isnt.

 

the lx 06 has a AI jack in the dash, it is in the same spot as on the ex under a little cover

 

one says yes the other says no. maybe there isnt an input on the back...is there one somewhere else like"4life" says? if so, where?

 

e4life was saying there is one in f the front. Not the back. There is absolutley, positively NOTHING in the back.

 

the ai jack is not on the radio at all it is on the dash below the radio under a little black cover that says auxilery input. it is a little headphone jack that you plug into.

 

ok so we are clear that there is nada in the back. now as for the front.... i know the ex has the jack but the lx? i have the black cover but it has a power outlet (like a lighter). thanks for the replys

i guess i didnt get that option. although i dont have access to the input simply because it isnt there, does the radio have the capability? what i mean is, if i take the radio out, will i find and input on it that i can bridge to the outside of the dash?
