'06 Civic auxiliary audio input
So I'm trying to find out what can be plugged it the auxiliary audio input on my new civic...I know honda sells a IPOD kit the connects in the glove box but I'm talking about the plug in by the power input below the radio. I'm thinking about getting an IPOD or some other kind of MP3 player but I have no idea where to get a cable to plug it into the jack. I've been looking online and have found nothing. Has anyone hooked something up to theirs yet?[sm=feedback.gif]

You mean a cable that has the RCA (red/white) plugs on one side and a headphone jack lookin' thing on the other end? I've got an extra one if you want it maybe? Or do you just want a pic so you know what to look for?

I haven't seen this jack on the 06 but I'm assuming it's just a standard 1/8" stereo headphone jack, am I correct? If so you'll just need a cable with a male connector on both ends... should be able to pick one up at radio shack or something.

Clicky Clicky!
I would prolly go with a 3 footer though, I doubt you need a 6 foot cable in your car.

Can you post pics of the aux input you're talking about? Cuz I was informed in this thread: https://www.hondacivicforum.com/fb.asp?m=139430 that the OEM stereo didn't have those inputs. And are you talking 'bout an FM modulator, cuz that thread'll help w/that too...Point you in the right direction, I mean.
