yeah i did actualy i got off my lazy butt and took oout my stock radio. and put in an after market one. so now my rca cables are going directly into the head unit. no extra wires. but it sucks now. cuz when i turn the valume up pretty high. well extremly high haha it distorts my music. do you think i should run my front and back speakers through an other amp? will that get rid of that distorting?

err.... If you turn it up really high and you hear distortion your probably at the max potential of the speakers you have, so an amp would most likely do nothing for you, in that case it would most likely be better to just get new better speakers... and if your pulling 1000 watts, you should probably upgrade your alternator, considering that the factory alternator is probably only good for like what? 90 amps? and thats not even including its duty cycle (how long it can put out that 90 amps) and with a 1000 watt amp, you pulling like 83 amps... so if you have ANY other accessory running, your going to be pulling power from your battery... Just so ya know, something that might be worth your wile looking into.
