I can tell just from looking at your pic, your shocks are gone.
When you get that fixed, you will sit higher. You also won't drop as much when your buddies pack in.

well with coilovers, thier for loweing the car and adjusting the ride height.. you definatly dont want to lower it with 17's, i have a hatch and i threw 17s on it and it rubbed like crazy... sold them the next day. i would just try to trade back man..
supersize honestly bro you provide people with the most retard and incorrect information. You can easily lower a car on 17's. I wouldnt do it because I dont like the look, but its still easy to do.
Anyways OP, have you looked into any coilovers yet? Just so you know they are expensive. Dont be miss led that you can just buy the coils and the sleeve and then just slap them on ur stock struts. You can do it but you will just end up blowing the stock ones quickly. A good set of coilovers are going to cost you around $600 bucks. You could also be patient and look for used ones.
i was just goin with my experience.. i dont know much about cars (as u can tell) but my cars stock with decent shocks and i rubbed.. i could just immagine lower
have you not seen reapers black honda pic? its on 17's and slammed. you just gotta know how to do it, also rims arent all the same some are wider than others and also have different offset... look up the word offset and you will understand.
