2 b18's for $50???
 

i found TWO b18's for $50. i think i may buy them tomorrow. a redneck shop owner has them. i think prob the valves are bad (timing belt broke). anybody have any good reason why i SHOULDNT buy them?

idk about stolen. i hope not.i forgot who, but somebody got their @ss blasted on here not too long ago for some bogus stereo activity. im an honest person, so i would hate to find out they are stolen. is there any way to find out? i want them, but not badly enough to worsen my record any further. i would also just be thinking about the people whos honda got ganked. i would be devastated if my b20 got ganked. f theives!!!

I say go ahead and get them. $25 PER b18, are you kidding me? You'd be stupid if you didn't get them!
To check them for legality, I guess just call the police station and ask how to find out? lol.

good news and bad news
good news- 1 of them is an ls motor and i got both for $35 a piece
bad news- 1 of them is a b20a (old prelude motor, yuck!) and 35+35=70, not 50.
both of them will need new valves. no biggie. they are complete motors tho, manifolds (both), injectors, cams, everything but harnesses. i didnt do too bad, did i?
i am about to do some research on b20a's, which i believe dont share any common parts with other b series engines. if its cheap to fix, i may just throw it in a beater, or put it on craigslist or something. i needs feedback! did i do the right thing?

b20a ist shizen! apparrently, the b20a is a garbage disposal/jet ski motor or something. it may prove to be completely useless. scrapyard!!! @ least i got a b18.

who knows? hope so. my buddy who is a cop sed not to worry bout it. he would find out once i picked them up. it wouldnt be on me anyway, since i would actually be making an effort to find out. who i got them from would get busted. i suppose im gonna start tearing the ls apart and build it for nitrous. i dont wanna hurt my b20b in my civic, but i dont care to grenade a $35 ls motor with a 200 shot. should be interesting...
